Yandex.Direct Allows Deferred Payments for its Regular Advertisers

Internet, October 15, 2007. Yandex has announced that its advertising platform, Yandex.Direct, will now offer a deferred payments system for its regular customers. Previously, only the prepayment option was available to advertisers.

This system will be available for those Yandex.Direct clients who have regularly placed their ads on the Yandex.Direct platform within the last six months. On average, the monthly advertising budget of clients involved in the program should be no less than to 3,000 roubles (approximately $120 USD). Provided service is to be paid for within fifteen calendar days.

“For many of our advertisers any disruption in their advertising campaigns can immediately influence their businesses,” said Anton Popov, a Yandex project manager. “We sought how to solve this problem of our users. Starting today, this new option will give thousands of our trusted advertisers the added flexibility they need to ensure that their advertising campaigns continue to run in the event of any temporary disruption to their cash flows.”

Yandex.Direct is the first and largest ad-serving system for contextual advertising on the Russian Internet. Ads are displayed for millions of users on search results pages and on the pages of the Yandex Advertising Network. Not so long ago, the number of ad displays on Yandex.Direct has exceeded one billion displays per week.
