For the third consecutive year, Yandex is partnering up with Revision Demoparty, one of the world's premier festivals celebrating generative art and digital creativity.
A cornerstone event for over 15 years, Revision Demoparty brings together competitive works from the demoscene community, showcasing the year's most groundbreaking achievements in cyberculture. The festival features 30 competition categories spanning diverse genres and computer platforms.
As part of the collaboration, Yandex will power Revision Satellite — the official livestream of the event, offering interactive voting and the opportunity to participate in competitions. This year's event will take place on April 19–20 at Yandex Museum, a unique venue housing retro computers and gaming consoles. The museum regularly hosts educational exhibits, immersive tech-history tours, and gaming tournaments for all ages.
At the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts Oleg Senin, curator of the Yandex Museum, and renowned demoscener Alexander Kolnogorov. The lectures will cover:
Demoscene 101: How To Get Started Today
Pixel Art: A Beginner's Guide
Chiptune Music: From Concept to Creation
Coding Visual Effects: Techniques and Tools
Yandex's collaboration with Revision — a truly global event — reflects the company's commitment to fostering innovation and creativity, uniting technology and art enthusiasts worldwide.
