Yandex has presented a new category of wearable AI devices designed to work with Alice AI. The company is the first in Russia to announce wearable AI devices for interacting with an AI assistant.
The devices will serve as an interface for My Memory, a new Alice AI feature. With My Memory, users can dictate thoughts and ideas to Alice AI the moment they come up, without switching to a smartphone. The feature turns them into structured lists, notes, and reminders. Users can return to them at any time in the Alice AI chat or through the wearable device's voice interface.
The wearable AI devices combine Yandex's hardware expertise with Alice AI's capabilities. The first product in the new category is set to go on sale in 2026. The category is designed to make AI available wherever users need it — outdoors, on the road, at home, and at work. With these devices, users can use voice commands to ask AI agents to handle tasks — for example, booking a haircut. All data will sync with the Alice AI chat: notes dictated to the device will appear instantly in the My Memory section, while changes made in the chat will sync back to the wearable device.
The launch of the wearable AI device category is Yandex's next step toward making AI more useful in everyday life. The company is building a unified AI experience across chat, smart speakers, and wearable devices, while expanding Alice AI's ability to help users complete practical tasks beyond the screen.
About AI agents
AI agents are programs built into Alice AI that allow it to perform practical tasks in the outside world on users' behalf. For example, they can place orders, book restaurants, send messages, or fill out forms. AI agents will be available in the Alice AI chat, Yandex Browser, and Yandex Go.
